Program and itinerary of this excursion:
08:30 - 09:30 : Departure from your hotel to Hua Thanon local market
09:30 : Visit the market with explanations about the ingredients, herbs and spices encountered. Choice of dishes and purchase of the corresponding products
11:00 : Arrival in a traditional south Thai house.
11:30 : Start of the cooking class with the 1st dish
16:00 : End of the day after have cooked 4 dishes and tasted all of its
16:30 : Back to your hotel
Cook and travel discovering this authentic Thai cooking class!
You will start by strolling at the Hua Thanon Market to discover the different herbs, spices and aromas of Thai cuisine. You will have to choose not less than 4 dishes that you will prepare and taste afterwards.
Everything is possible ! No fixed menu! Fish, shrimp, squid or vegetarian dishes, let your dreams run wild ... The English-speaking guide can, of course, help you choose and define the dishes according to your taste.
The course will then take place in a family home typical of southern Thailand. A work plan reserved for the preparations will make possible to discover each flavor and / or aroma composing the dish as well as the way of working each product.
You can even pick some herbs like lemongrass and basil leaves directly from the garden located a few meters from the kitchen!
The cooking will be done in a second area where your guide, after giving you the instructions, will let you master your cook, it's up to you!
It should be noted that cooking is done with a special natural coconut oil.
The group of 4 people maximum to attend this course gives it a family atmosphere, friendly and filled with good mood !
